The REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is a practical course for staff and volunteers who handle food in the workplace. During the course you will get a basic knowledge of the legal aspects of food hygiene in Scotland and understand the causes and measures for prevention of food poisoning.

Examination includes 30 multiple choice questions. Candidates are required to achieve 60% in order to be awarded a pass certificate.
By the end of the course individuals will be confident that they have an understanding of the basics of food handling which can be applied in the workplace.
