Having studies 2 years Accounting and Finance at Napier I decided accounts wasn’t for me, and switched to IT. From there I started to get involved in building websites for university societies and friends and my passion for IT was born. Fast forward a few years and I now have been running a successful web design business for 4 1/2 years, working at EVOC as the ICT officer. To top that off I am the only certified Speech Level Singing Vocal Coach in Scotland and run a very busy vocal studio where I get to study and train with some of the best vocal teachers in the world. I’m also a keen Irish Dancer and have been dancing for over 18 years.

Information About Current Role

As the ICT officer it’s my role at EVOC to ensure the smooth running of our computer network, and equipment. Server maintenance, desktop support, wrestling with Blackberry’s and pulling paper from the photocopier are all in a days work. Every now and then I get to do nice things like develop this new website we have just finished building and sometimes I even get to go out and away from my desk.
