I joined EVOC as a Development Officer based in the Wester Hailes area. My particular interests include: ‘enhancing social value,’ ‘inclusive & empowering approaches,’ and promoting the core civil society values of ‘mutuality, equality & human rights.’

Information About Current Role

I work to support third sector participation with partnerships. A major element of my work is to support the Edinburgh Compact Partnership in realising its aspirations to: ‘influence policy- and decision-making,’ ‘mainstream a social value approach,’ and ‘improve relationships between the public sector and the third sector.’ Some current projects include: supporting the development of a public social partnership with NHS Lothian, developing effective approaches to assessing social impacts, and encouraging concerted partnership action to reduce inequalities.
