EVOC Training Needs Analyser

ETNA is an online learning needs analyser available to Voluntary/Private and Public Sector Care providers in Scotland registered/non-registered and is also suitable for other organisations.

The ETNA is designed to gather a range of data in one place relating to staff and volunteer learning needs including professional registration/mandatory qualifications, non-accredited learning. To use this tool all you need is internet access which means you do not require additional software.

 Organisations using this tool include:

  • Children’s Day Care and Residential services;
  • Adult Day Care and Residential services;
  • Housing Support; Care at Home
  • Other Organisations/services

Input data in 3 stages to achieve analysis and produce reports:

  1. Posts - input job titles and select grade
  2. Qualifications - select/input organisation requirements
  3. Employee - Input data on qualifications & non-accredited learning
  4. Analysis – colour coded to show learning progress including Individual Learning record
  5. Reports - in EXCEL
    • Statistical breakdown of workforce in numbers and %
    • Qualification(s) missing, met, working towards in numbers/names
    • Renewal qualifications required by date in numbers and namesl

* FREE use till March 2011 for Voluntary organisations providing services in East, West, Mid Lothian, Scottish Borders and Edinburgh funded by the Big Lottery through the South East Scotland Workforce Development Project.

Support and guidance is provided to assist and help you set up your TNA including a step by step guide. If you wish to discuss your organisation’s learning and development planning use the contact us form.

For a free trial please use the contact us form. This enables you to try out the system using an example organisation we have set up. Access is provided for 10 days at which point, you can register for your own account on the system.

To Register:

  1. Complete our online registration form
  2. You will receive email confirmation of your registration.
  3. EVOC will issue confirmation paperwork, terms and conditions and invoice you.
  4. On return of the signed paperwork, EVOC will set your access to the system live
